Music Editor Dan Brown joins UK Film Music as a time when it underpins its position as a first-class deliverer of all aspects of a project’s music department.
Dan’s recent television credits include SPENT, a comedy drama created and written by Michelle de Swarte who plays Mia, an ex-model in a high fashion, low fund 6-parter that sees her world come crashing down, and the second season of award-winning drama THE TOURIST starring Jamie Dornan and Danielle MacDonald.
Notable too is that Dan worked as both score producer and music editor on Jez Butterworth’s MAMMALS, a comedy drama starring James Corden, who plays a chef whose world implodes when he discovers secrets about his pregnant wife. Currently broadcasting on NBC is the ground-breaking Natural History series THE AMERICAS narrated by Tom Hanks for which Dan was the re-recording mixer and music editor.
Jack Halama joined cast members David Tennant and Clare Rusbrook (Lord & Lady Baddingham), writer Laura Wade and episode director Jamie Jay Johnson at the SXSW London festival on 5th June for a celebrity screening of the Season 2 (Part 1) thoroughly explosive last episode. Belfast composer, and new signing to UKFM Anthony Eve is attached to deliver a sound design/orchestral hybrid score for director Brian Kelly’s thriller feature NO WAY OFF starring Maria Bakalova and David Wilmot. A young mother boards a bus with her infant son, driven by a man wearing a Santa mask. When she wakes up, she’s the only passenger left, and the bus is off-route. She must outsmart the driver to escape.
